Opening locations are reviewed against the drawings, slab or wall condition and nearby services before cutting starts. Adjacent areas are protected, slurry is contained, and cores and debris leave site with us.

Two-phase demolition of the environmental lab and admin area at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant: millwork, drywall and block partitions, doors, carpet, ceramic tile and ceilings out, plus a concrete wall taken down. Then a trench saw-cut and broken out of the slab, duct openings cut through block walls, and cores drilled.

QUESTIONS WE GET.
Can you core inside an occupied building?
Yes. Work areas are protected, slurry is contained and vacuumed, and noisy work can be scheduled around the building's hours.
What happens to the slurry and the cores?
Slurry is contained and cleaned up as we go, and cores and debris are removed from site. The area is left clean for the next trade.
Can coring be combined with demolition on the same job?
Yes. We often demolish, then cut and core, on the same mobilization, which saves you a separate trade and a separate schedule.
